Uncompromising action. Environmental activists from the group Just Stop Oil attacked the luxury car brand Aston Martin in central London on Sunday. As a group blocked traffic on Park Lane, one of the capital’s poshest thoroughfares, an activist sprayed orange paint on the window of the dealership on that street.
Several members also glued themselves to the asphalt of the street. On Friday, two activists attacked Van Gogh’s masterpiece, the “Sunflowers”, at the National Gallery. Just Stop Oil asks the government of Liz Truss to put an end to the exploitation of hydrocarbons in the country, exploitation which the Prime Minister has decided to accelerate.
