Surprise: Mike Heiter no longer wants to be a sex toy on two legs
On the 16th day there’s sticky cuddling on the bunk in the jungle camp

The semi-finals are full of spectacular developments: one favorite for the crown misses out on making it to the final, another suddenly has no desire to live up to his own image. How could that happen?
You can say what you want about the voting decisions of the jungle camp viewers, but one thing cannot be said: that they are predictable. Day 16 in Australia ended completely unexpectedly. Fabio missed out on making it to the final. The reality TV actor had no luck as a date doctor recently, but was considered to be in the top 3. His girlfriend Darya couldn’t find a good reason for it in the interview on “The Hour After”. Fabio’s off on. But as a precaution, she had already bought the schnapps and cigars that he had wanted in case he was thrown out.

Fabio, the dome witch of the jungle dating and screams of death at the locus
Let’s not kid ourselves: For the man who not long ago sold vacuum cleaners, taking part in the jungle camp is a great success. How many people previously had an image in their mind when they heard the name Fabio Knez? And now? Obelix braids, glasses, porn bars, underpants, you get the picture!
Maybe Fabio was just from to balanced mind. A hit-singing, beard-brushing Hulk lookalike with a heart at least as big as Altötting is simply not good enough for the hero’s journey. The only noticeable flaw: his tendency towards pure philistinism. The potential for tragedy in this area is manageable.
A man breaks up with himself
Mike Heiter managed it too not in the final. This makes things much more exciting. Because on day 16 the badly battered man made a development that only a few people would have noticed. The dating show hopper was actually next seen exchanging kisses with fellow camper Leyla. Quite a few people said that the reality TV star had planned a love story anyway: actually with Kim, then – for reasons – with her replacement Leyla.
But Mike did everything differently: “I just want to be Mike,” he said, “I don’t always want to be reduced to this dating thing, I don’t always want to just be in contact with one woman.” Mickedy Mike, obviously bored with the role of the constantly horny fuckboy who jumps on everything that doesn’t bother him at three. Who no longer wants to wander around on two legs as a human “satisfyer”. It was his ex-girlfriend Kim Virginia who compared him to the sex toy. Things were going well between them physically back then…
In an interview with Twenty4Tim, Mike appeared to be very thoughtful: he is actually a positive, funny person. But he wasn’t able to show this side of himself in the camp. “How would things have gone if Kim hadn’t been in here?” he wondered aloud. Her constant attacks forced him to talk about things he wanted to keep private. “I will have trust problems in the future,” suspected the 31-year-old.
He doesn’t yet know how he will behave in the future: “Should I never date someone who does reality TV again? I don’t know. But I’m absolutely never in the mood for that again,” he said, visibly annoyed by the experience in the camp.
He felt like an almost empty remote control, Mike then expressed his condition in an almost perfect metaphor: “You’re still pressing it, even though the battery is completely empty.”
No kiss for Leyla
Mike didn’t kiss Leyla either. He preferred to talk to her. About why he didn’t want to kiss her. “I don’t even feel comfortable in my own skin here,” he told her. Then he smothered her hope for more with one sentence: “We get along well, we get along really well, but I thought that was it for now.” Leyla then cried on the jungle phone and thought she was “in a bad movie”, after Mike had also added the forbidden sentence: “It’s not you, it’s me.” So it was up to her. Somewhere Kim Virginia was probably sitting in front of the screen grinning and laughing: “Told you so, girl! You’re just not his type. If only you had opted for Girls Support Girls!”
Leyla is now in the final. She had already said on Friday what she wanted to do if she won: “I really want to go to Aldi with my jungle crown!”. And buy all the food there that they so desperately missed in the jungle. Maybe then take a detour to the kebab snack bar. Doner kebab is Leyla’s favorite food.
People who only know her from TV think they know that she is “a typical Pick-Me Girl”, i.e. a woman who is always chasing male approval and also walks over women’s corpses. The fact is: Leyla Lahouar is now in the final with Lucy Diakovska and Twenty4Tim and says: “I’ve never been so proud of myself in my life.” How everything ends is no longer in their hands anyway.
