This semi-final was a first!
For the first time in the history of the jungle camp, only men sat around the campfire. After actress Anouschka Renzi (57) moved out, five men remained and made up the fight for progress among themselves.
In the end, however, the TV viewers had to send two of them home. And that’s also unusual: One was even happy about his exit.
Renzi’s departure caused very different emotions in the camp. “Jungle Show” winner Filip Pavlovic (27) suggested exuberantly: “Today we can do what we want. We can even walk around naked if you want.” Meanwhile, Harald Glööckler (56) became melancholic and sang in thoughts of his good friend: “Leadless through the night. Anouschka turned the corner.”

moderator Daniel Hartwich (43) had to say with amusement: “It’s a bit like in the CDU: Mom is gone and the gentlemen are staggering around without a guide.”
In fact, there was an emergency order in the camp. A new team boss should therefore be elected shortly before the end of the game. Harald dropped out straight away. “Since people always accuse me of wanting to seize the scepter anyway, I’m retiring.”
As the choice on Manuel Flickinger (33) fell and reminded the round of the camp rules, Glööckler fired his poisoned darts again. “When he came in he was a meerkat, now he’s a lion. The self-confidence has made a gigantic leap, ”said his biting comment.
The fashion designer was also bitterly upset that EVERYONE had to take the exam. Because he wasn’t feeling well. “I’m so dizzy and sick that I choke on a spoonful of rice.” The day before he had rejected the disgust test together with Anouschka and probably would have done so in the semifinals. “Well, if it’s something gross…” he announced as a precaution.

But things turned out differently. The gentlemen had to face the “Creek of the Stars”. The quintet should go star-catching on a slippery course.
They fired on wind machines, water cannons and giant exercise balls. The first candidate should sprint, grab five stars, and use them to fight their way to their position. Then it was the turn of the second, took four stars from him, dived for his marker and so on.
The men had eight minutes for this task to get the star in the specified position. dr Bob (71) sent the team on its way with a compliment. “What a handsome men’s club. You are bursting with strength.” His tip: “I advise you to start with a stoop until you feel more confident. Then get up and run.” Filip, in particular, had his pants full and complained: “Right now I have to go to the toilet.”
Because Harald was not doing so well, he was allowed to start first, so he had to cover the shortest distance. Unfortunately, he lost the stars along the way and had to collect them all again. That took time. But as highly motivated as the men were, they mastered the test with flying colors. Even presenter Sonja Zietlow (53) was impressed. “There is applause from the employees and of course from us too.”

But the hardest part was still ahead of their candidates. The exit announcement made everyone tremble. Even Sonja and Daniel only found out the result at the campfire, that’s when the votes were counted. Zietlow only knew beforehand: “It’s really close, people.”
Filip was the first participant to find out that he was in the final. His message to the fans: “Thank you Germany, I kiss your eyes.”
Manuel soon found out that he was further along. “I have goosebumps everywhere,” he said happily. After bodyguard Peter Althof (66) was announced, the final decision was made between ex-GZSZ star Eric Stehfest (32) and Harald Glööckler. The star designer lost out, his competitor got through.
No disappointment for Glööckler – on the contrary. He was even almost happy. He admitted to his comrades-in-arms: “I’ve been hoping all day to get out. I felt so crappy today.”
What he is most looking forward to now, the eliminated also revealed: “And I can finally wear glitter again.” Eric, Filip and Manuel will fight for the crown in the final.
