Curfew overturned, replacement candidate there?
Before the start of the jungle camp, the stars are allowed to move more freely than their predecessors.

RTL relaxes before the start of “I’m a star – get me out of here!” the curfew. This could not apply to Tim Toupet.
Relief for Heinz Hoenig (72), Cora Schumacher (47) and Co. The jungle campers are supposedly allowed to leave their hotel rooms before the start of the new season on January 19th. According to “Bild”, RTL lifted the curfew this year. Last year, the celebrities were interviewed before the start of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” still strictly shielded. In addition to Corona measures, there was another reason for this. The future fellow campers should not cross paths before filming.
But this year too, the aim is to prevent the stars from exchanging ideas in advance. It is said that they are only allowed to leave their hotel room in consultation with production so as not to meet other candidates.
The celebrities are not allowed to roam Down Under alone. You are only allowed to go out if accompanied. For Felix von Jascheroff (41) this is his new fiancée Sophie. Like the “GZSZ” actor posted in an Instagram storyhe prepares with her for the time in the jungle by reducing food and his daily coffee intake.
Tim Toupet as a replacement candidate?
The new freedom apparently does not apply to one celebrity: Tim Toupet (52). According to speculation, the Ballermann star is said to be available as a replacement candidate. This “Bild” also reported, citing production sources. The “Kebab” singer should initially be shielded from the public. RTL told the newspaper that it was not taking part in speculation.
Every year at least one celebrity is there as a replacement candidate if one of the signed stars fails. This case happened last year. Martin Semmelrogge (68), who was actually scheduled to attend, was unable to enter Australia due to visa problems. Djamila Rowe (56) took his place – and promptly became jungle queen!
