A “Who’s Who” of trash TV: These stars are supposedly on the legend season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” included.
In the summer of 2024, RTL will broadcast a special of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” out of. The station is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the reality classic. That had Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (41) announced at the reunion show of the last season in February. And the title has already been decided: “I am a star – showdown of the jungle legends”. Twelve deserving campers from 20 years of “IBES” get a second chance.
Already shooting in May?
However, the filming is not taking place in Australia, where the jungle camp usually takes place. Instead, the setting is South Africa, more precisely the Swadini National Park at the Blyde River Canyon. Fans of the jungle camp already know the location. In 2021, in the middle of the corona pandemic, production shifted to this. According to the “Bild” newspaper, filming is supposed to take place in May.
Bushido in the bush?
Of course, there is already a lot of speculation about the participants in the summer camp. The latest rumor: Rapper Bushido (45) should be seen around the show, At least that’s what “Bild” reports. However, Bushido should not be one of the twelve candidates. That would also go against the concept since he has never been to the jungle camp. Instead, the Dubai resident could comment on the program together with his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi (42), for example as part of a podcast. According to the paper, filming for the RTL+ documentary “Bushido & Anna-Maria – Everything on Family” near the camp would also be conceivable.
In the joint podcast “In bed with Anna-Maria and Anis Ferchichi”, Anis Ferchichi, the rapper’s real name, came out as a big fan of trash TV. He wanted to move into the “summer house of the stars” with his wife, but she vetoed it. Nevertheless, the two visited the “Sommerhaus” set for their podcast.
Jungle camp all stars: These celebrities are being talked about
The “Bild” newspaper wants to know the names of the first all-stars, who could supposedly go to the jungle camp in the summer. Naturally, these are celebrities who didn’t exactly behave inconspicuously when they took part in “IBES” for the first time.
Sarah Knappik (37) should be there. In 2011, the former “GNTM” candidate almost drove her colleagues crazy. They threatened to go on strike if Sarah remained “Dingens”. Last year, Knappik tried to appear reformed on “Battle of the Reality Stars”. It was only good for a few episodes.
According to “Bild”, Daniela Büchner (46) is also supposedly set. The widow of ex-jungle camper Jens Büchner (1969-2018) came third in “IBES” in 2020. She set a jungle test record. The viewers chose her twelve times.
Georgina Fleur (34) came sixth in the jungle camp in 2013. She annoyed her roommates with a number of escapades. This could particularly bring Thorsten Legat (55) into the spotlight in 2024. The ex-footballer doesn’t shy away from making a clear statement. This is how he became a crowd favorite in 2016. Legat is also said to be a candidate alongside trash TV regular Kader Loth (51).
According to rumors, the names of Giulia Siegel (49), Gina-Lisa Lohfink (37), ex-Bro’Sis star Indira Weis (44) and currywurst entrepreneur Chris Töpperwien (50) are also circulating. Three personal details have already been fixed. In addition to Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen, Dr. Bob (73) there again.
