Cora Schumacher, who was already seen by many as the favorite to win, was at the end of her strength after just three days in the jungle camp. She tearfully admitted that her dream had shattered and then said the decisive sentence: “I’m a star – get me out of here!”
But Leyla Lahouar rose like a phoenix from the ashes. After her desolate performance from the previous day, where she abandoned her jungle test after a few seconds, she was voted in again by the viewers. And did it much better this time. Despite her fear of heights, she climbed a twelve-meter-high scaffolding and collected ten out of eleven stars. She secured the last one by jumping into the depths. This is how heroes are born.
