Day 8 in the jungle camp: Anouschka has ADD, Glööckler suffers from sciatica, Peter runs out of jokes – and Tara gets the fewest calls: Are you stupid, jungle? And what kind of game does Eric actually play?

By Mark Stoehr

Zero points for Austria. Uff. Tara Tabitha has to pack her bag. Kissy, Baba. Who would have thought? The Viennese model had ambitious plans. After the domestic success with shows like “Mit Brain, Charme und Melonen”, it also wanted to hit the German market. It wanted to stop snapping its toenails into an envelope and sending it to the Fritzls in Lower and Upper Austria. Nothing will come of it at first. The 28-year-old’s reaction to the surprising voting result was frustrated: “And for that I let myself be showered with fish soup?”

The expulsion could be revenge for the fact that the Alpine republic wants to wear us down linguistically. Potatoes instead of potatoes, tomatoes instead of tomatoes, cauliflower instead of cauliflower – who can stand that? If you want to tell someone in Austria that they’re about to be punched in the face, they say: “Don’t shake the tree.” With us, at best, a flax among five-year-olds, there gangster jargon. And don’t think about trying to sit down in a chair in a coffee house. There’s no chair, it’s always called an armchair.

Is Eric Stehfest just putting on a show in the jungle camp?

The worst thing that Austria has brought to the world remains Sigmund Freund. Current example Eric Stehfest. Diagnosis: too much inner travel plus an overdose of yoga. When the 32-year-old takes the floor, which doesn’t happen very often (Tara: “He doesn’t open his cardboard all day”), it always sounds like a mixture of Hamlet and healing earth. “I would describe my position in the camp,” he analyzed himself laboriously yesterday, “in such a way that I’m interested in getting to know each person individually.” For the blasphemer sisters around Linda, the situation is different. Eric puts on a “mega acting show” for her. Above all, his proximity to Glööckler, to whom he clings to the lips of the rubber dinghy around the campfire, makes him suspicious.

There was a mini scandal with Filip. It was about the drinking water tank that hadn’t been filled yet, much to the chagrin of the two fully tattooed aesthetes who were in dire need of a cup of hot water. Eric: “You lie around every day, man.” Filip: “Not you?” Eric: “Rarely, very rarely.” Filip: “I’m sorry you’re so perfect.” Eric, who must have felt a migraine coming from all that bad karma, turned away and said to his spiritus rector, “I’d like to leave the situation.” Departure for two. Glööckler in front, Stehfest as Pompööschen behind.

ADS outing by Anouschka Renzi

At halftime, the camp has reached a reasonable level of ruin. Anouschka Renzi is now close to the state of complete insanity. She stumbles through the set and often no longer knows where she is and what she wants there (Tara: “How can you get lost here, there are only three ways?”). A little out of nowhere, she revealed a dark secret: she suffers from ADD, i.e. attention deficit disorder, and is therefore often so clumsy. “It’s not a disregard for you,” she announced pathetically to the group, “I apologize from the bottom of my heart.” Dutiful applause like Alcoholics Anonymous.

Previously, Harald Glööckler, who suffers from back pain and a mental vacuum (“My head has been empty since I’ve been here”), had read his old girlfriend the riot act. “I protect you all the time, but your constant fighting is getting on my nerves. You have to learn to hold back, everyone, including you.” Referring to Linda, he said: “This is a young girl, you have to respect that she is not as far along as you are.” Tara wasn’t ready yet either. Her departure came too early for her for another reason: “I haven’t lost enough weight yet.”
