Anouschka Renzi was previously the outsider in the jungle camp. On Day 8, the actress revealed she has ADD, hoping for more understanding of her behavior.
With her appearance and her statements, Anouschka Renzi has made few friends in the jungle camp. She complained about the rules, the food, the night watches, her fellow campers – everything seemed to go against the grain of the actress. Her only allies so far have been designer Harald Glööckler and actor Eric Stehfest. But on day eight, Renzi fled to the front and confessed that her quirks and mockery were by no means malicious, but the result of an illness.
“They present me as clumsy and dopey all the time. I think I’ll just say that I have ADD. That’s no shame,” Renzi revealed in an interview with Glööckler and Stehfest. The 57-year-old then cried bitter tears.
In the end it wasn’t Renzi, but Glööckler, who shared the news with the group. “Anouschka has ADD. She didn’t really want to share that, but is now ready to share it publicly. She doesn’t want to look stupid in front of you and in front of the whole nation. And that you don’t all think she’s completely crazy and a completely weird old woman . I think it’s very strong that she moved to the camp anyway and has the courage to say so publicly,” said the 56-year-old.

ADD stands for Attention Deficit Disorder. Those affected find it difficult to concentrate on one thing for a long time. Extremely impulsive behavior is also typical. Renzi said emotionally, deeply moved: “I’m so sorry for everything. If I’m not in stressful situations, everything goes. But here, that gets me down. It gets me down that I don’t always know where what’s hanging. Then come on I’m in exams where I come across as clumsy. It’s not a disrespect to you, though. My heartfelt apologies. I’m not doing this on purpose. I’m so sorry.”
There was applause and hugs from the other campers. There was even reconciliation with Tina Ruland, with whom Renzi had shortly before taken offense. “Please forgive me, I don’t want to deal with these tensions anymore,” Renzi said in the direction of her acting colleague. After the preliminary reconciliation, things went really well for Anouschka, Tina and Linda in the jungle test: they earned nine out of ten possible stars. It remains to be seen whether Renzi’s confession will bring about a lasting change in mood in the camp.
