Julia Fischer’s Children’s Symphony Orchestra plays their autumn concert. – Munich

In 2019, violinist Julia Fischer founded the Children’s Symphony Orchestra in her hometown of Gauting, a string orchestra for talented young musicians aged seven and over. At this year’s autumn concert on November 10th and 11th, Johann Sebastian Bach’s famous double concerto in D minor (BWV 1043) for two violins is on the program. The demanding solo parts are played by children from the orchestra.

Under the direction of its conductor Johannes With these three popular repertoire works for string orchestra, the program is a special challenge for all orchestra members aged eight to 15 – from first violin to double bass.
