“Tagesschau” spokeswoman Judith Rakers shared her grief on Instagram: her cat Juri was killed by a neighbor’s dog.
“Tagesschau” spokeswoman Judith Rakers (46) mourns one of her animals. The TV star wrote on Instagram: “Today Juri would have been one year old. Yesterday the new neighbour’s dog bit him to death.” Yuri walked onto his property “because he was always welcome there before,” the 46-year-old explained further: “He couldn’t know that the new dog was killing cats when he saw them.”
The owners are “sincerely concerned and dismayed,” reports Rakers. “And I’m incredibly sad. You followed Juri’s birth and you saw how he grew up. He will be missed on the small farm.” In the article she also shows pictures and a short video of the four-legged friend. Rakers regularly shares her life with her cats, chickens and horses with her followers on Instagram.
