Two brothers are suspected of being the perpetrators of this attack and the public prosecutor of Périgueux Solène Belaouar announced this Friday in this case that “a judicial investigation targeting the facts of attempted robbery in a meeting and with a weapon (criminal acts punishable 20 years’ imprisonment) and intentional violence in a meeting and with a weapon resulting in incapacity for work of less than eight days, in this case six days (an offense punishable by five years’ imprisonment)”. They are also prosecuted for refusing to give the unlock codes for their mobile phones in police custody.

The two brothers are presented this Friday morning to an examining magistrate of the judicial court of Périgueux with a view to an indictment. The Public Prosecutor’s Office requires for the minor “a placement under judicial control including several binding obligations” and for his older brother, in recidivism, a placement in pre-trial detention.
