Eight years and six months imprisonment. At the beginning of December, after eleven days of negotiations, this is the verdict in a sensational trial at the regional court. A matter is negotiated there that could just as easily be scenes from the script of a horror film: A 67-year-old man from the Ebersberg district had castrations and other surgical interventions in the genital and anal areas on eight men. One of the men had died following such an operation. Follow-up complications occurred in a good half of the victims. The accused has no medical training – although he has led his “customers” to believe this, which the court assesses at the expense of the man. In his favor, however, that he carried out all interventions at the request of the men.
