Judas Priest has reached the top of the German album charts for the first time – with the newly released album “Invincible Shield”.

The British cult band has existed since 1969 Judas Priest. In this long period of time, it has never been at the top of the official German album charts – until now. Because “Invincible Shield”, the metal band’s new record, has immediately reached the top of the Official German Charts, determined by GfK Entertainment.

Benson Boone defends number one in the singles charts

According to the press release, Judas Priest have already placed 22 albums in the German charts in their long band history, they have reached the top ten seven times so far, and now they have reached the top position. The Rolling Stones also debut with their new live album “Live At The Wiltern” at number four in the German album charts. In between are Paula Hartmann (22) in second place with “Kleine Feuer” and Ariana Grande (30) in third place with “Eternal Sunshine”. Rapper Badmómzjay (21) completes the top five places with her long-player “Don’t Trust Bitches”.

For the third week in a row, US newcomer Benson Boone (21) is at number one in the Official German Single Charts with his hit “Beautiful Things”. Behind them, Cyril improves from sixth place last week to second place with “Stumblin’ In”. German rapper $oho Bani (25), Herbert Grönemeyer (67) and Ericson are in third position with their new version of the World Cup song “Time for something to turn” while superstar Beyoncé (42) is in third place with “Texas Hold’Em” took fourth place. Bennett completes the top five of the single charts with “Vois sur ton chemin (Techno Mix)”.
