‘Exciting projects’ instead of a tour: The Jonas Brothers are postponing their European tour, the fans are not very enthusiastic.

The Jonas Brothers aren’t making any friends with this announcement. The musicians’ European tour was scheduled to start in four weeks, which would also have taken them to Germany for three concerts at the end of May and beginning of June. But in The brothers have now announced in a video on Instagram that they are spontaneously moving the dates to autumn. “We are postponing the European tour dates to later this year. But only because we have other exciting projects that we will share with you at a later date,” explain Kevin (36), Joe (34) and Nick Jonas (31) in the short clip.

“European fans, we love you, we can’t wait to see you, it’s been long overdue,” adds Nick Jonas, the youngest of the trio. The purchased tickets remain valid and can be used for the new dates in the fall. “We know this is a bit inconvenient, but we can’t wait to share more about what’s to come,” the post accompanying the video reads.

The fans are angry

The postponement and especially the manner of the announcement are not well received by the group’s fans. “The video could have been a little more serious, especially since you could have apologized,” complains an Instagram user. The fact that no refund of tickets is offered for such a spontaneous campaign is met with little understanding. “Cancelling due to unavoidable circumstances is understandable, but prioritizing other projects is not justified,” explains another user.

Shows in Latin America are happening

Appointments in Latin America that take place before the original trip to Europe are not affected by the postponement. “Latin America – We can’t wait to see you next week!” write the Jonas Brothers. “The Tour”, to accompany the new LP “The Album”, takes the former Disney stars to Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru in April. On the Website of the organizer Live Nation It is already noted that the first European date in Manchester will now take place on September 12th.
