Jon Fosse’s novel series “Heptalogy”: You’ve never been closer to life – culture

It takes a few pages for the reader to find his or her way into Jon Fosse’s most recent novels: the text runs along without points or paragraphs, as if it were a transcript of the loose trains of thought, associations and sequences of images that the narrator (whether it is always the same, you don’t know) go through your head. There is no pause, the sentences are not always grammatically structured, and sometimes they change direction with the verb.
