New season coming in April
“Joko and Klaas against ProSieben” goes into its seventh season from April.

The camera is running again: Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf are challenging their house broadcaster ProSieben again from April.
Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) continue to challenge ProSieben: Production of the 7th season of “Joko & Klaas vs. ProSieben” starts today, Wednesday (March 13th), as the broadcaster reports.
The new episodes will begin broadcasting on April 9, 2024 at the usual broadcast time, it goes on to say. “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” can be seen every Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. and in the live stream on Joyn. Six new episodes have been announced – and an anniversary: among the episodes is the 50th edition of the show. What will happen is not yet known, ProSieben simply announced: “Everything is possible!”
Stakes: Prime time broadcast
The game show “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” started in 2019 and is a competition between the presenter duo against their house channel ProSieben, which is represented by various prominent and non-celebrity duos. The game will be played for 15 minutes of live prime time broadcast time the next day.
If ProSieben wins, Joko and Klaas have to undergo a “punishment” imposed by the broadcaster – for example, they had to cook for ProSieben employees, present the weather for a week or watch the coronation of King Charles III live. (75) comment.
Nonsense and politics – that’s how Joko and Klaas use their 15 minutes
In addition to all sorts of nonsense, Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf have used the 15 minutes they gained for political and socially critical topics. For example, they drew attention to the revolution in Iran after the death of student Mahsa Amini, had the Ukrainian band Selo i Ludy report on everyday war life, and used the fictional exhibition “Men’s Worlds” to shed light on sexism and sexualized violence.
The program has already received several awards, including two Grimme Prizes, a Nannen Prize and the Honorary Prize of the Quota Meter Television Prize.
