Moderators rely on risky variants

Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf started the seventh season of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” with a new risk variant.
Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) started the new season “Joko & Klaas against” on Tuesday evening (April 9th). ProSieben” started. A special opportunity awaited the presenter duo.
Anniversary season with a new variant
Normally, if the two of them end up winning the ProSieben show, they can choose over 15 minutes of live broadcast time on ProSieben. If the duo loses, they have to serve the station as punishment. But in the spring season there will be the 50th episode of the show and ProSieben has come up with something to mark the anniversary. In addition to the normal variant, in which the moderators gain advantages for the final in six games, this time the two can opt for a risky variant. With this you have a total of 50 attempts for all games. With these they have to make it through to the final. Then a larger prize package awaits them: they could act as program directors of ProSieben for 24 hours next Sunday. The two didn’t need to be told twice and took a risk at the start of the season.
In game one, the two took on a rolling goal, Winterscheidt fought through the challenge despite a shoulder injury. In the end, six failed attempts reduced the account. In the second game, the duo had to make each other’s shoes and glasses in a workshop with certain requirements. In the studio they presented their unusual works, with which they had to master a basketball challenge and only received two failed attempts. In game three there were four failed attempts, in game four there were five. In the rock-paper-scissors interlude against ProSieben broadcaster boss Hannes Hiller, the two bet 15 of their remaining 33 attempts, Klaas lost to his boss and the account was reduced to 18 attempts.
In the fifth game, the moderators competed against Mini-Me candidates and received another five failed attempts. In the sixth challenge, a game of tennis ball throwing ended up being their undoing.
They used all 13 attempts and thus failed to reach the final. As a punishment, the moderators now have to host and moderate commercial breaks on ProSieben in special advertising outfits. In the next week For the 50th edition (April 16th) the moderators can try their luck again. The season has a total of six episodes (last on May 14th).
