Joko Winterscheidt crashes with a BMX bike and rams the handlebars in the stomach
Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf could not earn 15 live broadcast minutes despite good conditions.

It looked really painful: Joko fell with the BMX bike on “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” – and the two lost to the broadcaster.
It hurt just to look: instead of winning against ProSieben, moderator Joko Winterscheidt fell at the start of the second half of the fifth season “Joko and Klaas against ProSieben”. He had to leave the show briefly.
It was the game “Dilemmas” that brought down Joko. In the game, he and his colleague Klaas Heufer-Umlauf were supposed to prove their skills by crossing a tree trunk on a BMX bike.
Joko rammed the handlebars in the stomach
First Klaas Heufer-Umlauf tried and failed directly in his attempt. He advised Joko: “You don’t need to brake. You have to go over there, I think. With a taste.” Joko Winterscheid initially stayed longer on the bike, but just before he reached the end of the tree trunk, the moderator lost his balance and fell.
He fell unhappily on the handlebars – just where the protective vest no longer reached. He rammed the handlebars into his stomach. Winterscheidt was treated, causing the show’s taping according to the broadcaster had to be temporarily interrupted. He came back obviously in pain but also to thunderous applause from the audience present.
Four advantages for the final
For the final entitled “Please turn”, in which there was a premiere, the duo was able to win a total of four advantages. For the first time, the final game took place outdoors. In an extremely limited space, the two should turn a car. Thanks to the advantages, they had a total of seven minutes to do this.
Heufer-Umlauf steered the car skilfully. “Really impressive,” said moderator Steven Gätjen. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to complete the task. That’s why the two don’t get 15 minutes of live broadcasting from their broadcaster. As a punishment, however, they have to moderate “Galileo” until Friday, i.e. for three days, from 7:05 p.m.
