Anyone who was looking forward to Joko and Klaas’s 15 minutes was disappointed: the duo is waiting for next time, but promises great things.

With their victory against employers ProSieben last Tuesday (October 17th), Joko Winterscheidt (44) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) earned 15 minutes of broadcast time in prime time. The duo is now using this to do… nothing. The two only made a short announcement at exactly 8:15 p.m. before the normal ProSieben program (“tv total”) continued.

In the said TV statement, Joko and Klaas simply repeated what they had previously said the official shared Instagram account had revealed in detail in a story. The two of them have been making a plan for months about what we want to do with the 15 minutes we’ve won. And we’ve been planning it for months. We’ve now realized in the final preparations that it’s going to be sensational, it’s going to be the biggest 15 minutes there ever was. But maybe it won’t just be 15 minutes, maybe there won’t be enough time.”

The two therefore approached ProSieben with the question of whether they could possibly get more time. This request was rejected, but a compromise was offered: If they didn’t use their 15 minutes to the full this time, they could use the time saved next time.

After two minutes the main program continued

No sooner said than done: With their two-minute short appearance on Wednesday evening, they should have saved around 13 minutes, which should give them 28 minutes next time – at least in theory.

Because in order for there to be a next time, they have to win against the broadcaster again in one of the upcoming editions of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”. This was not the case in the first half of the sixth season, which ran from April 25th to May 23rd of this year – ProSieben won four of the five matches.
