Joko and Klaas took control of ProSieben for 24 hours. As the new program heads, the two are allowed to broadcast whatever they want – and chaos immediately begins.
Munich – The popular TV chaotics Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) show once again that they can turn television on its head – this time even taken literally. After their victory in the show “Joko & Klaas vs. ProSieben” they gained control of their channel for a full 24 hours.

Joko and Klaas have already shown in the past that they like to use the airtime they have gained on ProSieben for very different types of contributions – sometimes useful, sometimes less useful. Some of her previous articles that addressed important social issues have even won awards. However, today’s scenes may have less chance of such honors.
One of the highlights of the day so far was an uncommented live image of a waterhole in Namibia. There were lots of oryx antelopes to be seen relaxing and frolicking next to the cool water. Incredible – instead of TV action and series highlights, this Sunday there were pictures of natural spectacles. Some fans described the ProSieben program on Instagram as “slowing down”.

But there wasn’t just wilderness to see on ProSieben: several episodes of “Don’t Stop Laughing” and nostalgic talk show gems took the audience on a journey into the past. The two TV presenters also hijacked the breakfast television of their sister channel Sat.1.
The internet went crazy – in the most positive way. Fans all over social media are celebrating the unusual Antelope Sunday. Between tweets like “Have the antelopes prepared anything else or even rehearsed a choreography? A bit afraid of going to the toilet and then missing something.” to “I can basically imagine myself getting some mental relaxation now and then!”, the enthusiasm was huge.
