For the second time in just two months, US singer John Mayer has apparently been infected with the corona virus.
US singer-songwriter John Mayer (44) had to address his fans with disappointing news. For the second time in a very short time he tested positive for the corona virus. As a direct result, he and his band had to cancel four shows in their home country of the United States. The concerts in Boston, Pittsburgh and Belmont Park are now to be rescheduled for May of this year, as Mayer announces via Instagram.
According to the post, other band members have tested positive in addition to Mayer himself. One question in particular worries him: “How can I be positive in a PCR test twice within two months?” Already at the beginning of the new year he had to go into quarantine, like now again.
“Caught Harder”
Compared to his first illness, he is currently doing much worse: “The first one was extremely mild, but this one hit me harder,” Mayer tells his Instagram followers. He and his colleagues now want to recover as well and as quickly as possible so that they can then give their all again.
