Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, is said to have agreed to a deal with the Justice Department. This is reported, among other things, by the “New York Times”. He pleads guilty to tax violations.

The son of US President Joe Biden has pleaded guilty to tax and gun violations. Hunter Biden admitted to two counts of tax evasion as part of an agreement with prosecutors, according to a court document released Tuesday.

In a separate case, the 53-year-old admitted to possessing a firearm, despite being banned from doing so as a drug user. The agreements with the federal prosecutor’s office in the state of Delaware are intended to prevent a process. But a judge still has to approve it.

US judiciary is investigating Hunter Biden

The US judiciary had been investigating Hunter Biden for some time. The 53-year-old is a popular target for attacks by opposition Republicans who want to harm President Biden.
