This is how her “Tagesthemen” moderation was received
Jessy Wellmer moderated her first “Tagesthemen” show on Monday evening. This is how the internet reacts to her debut.
The 35-minute program on Monday covered, among other things, the Israeli army’s advances in Gaza, the hostages kidnapped by Hamas, the situation in the Gaza Strip and the riots at an airport in Dagestan, Russia. This was followed by a contribution to the planned migration agreement and an interview with Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD, 53), who congratulated Wellmers on her first broadcast.

Confident, professional, personable. I think it will be good!” writes one user. And another raves: “She did it really well – a whole new style! She was also supported extremely harmoniously by the wonderful Judith Rakers.”
