Jens Lehmann trial: Ex-keeper sentenced to a fine of 420,000 euros – Munich

Former national soccer goalkeeper Jens Lehmann (54) left room 125 in the Starnberg district court on Friday afternoon in a hurry and completely served – and also left his defender Christoph Rückel standing. The ex-keeper, who lives in Berg am Starnberger See, has just been sentenced to a fine of 210 daily rates of 2,000 euros each: 420,000 euros in total. For damaging property in a neighboring garage, insulting two police officers, whom he called “cunning liars” – and for attempted fraud. Twice he had not paid the fees totaling around 300 euros in a parking garage at Munich Airport.
