Swedish lawyer and author Jens Lapidus, born in 1974, has worked as a criminal defense attorney for many years. It was during this period that he wrote his hugely successful “Stockholm Noir” trilogy, three crime novels about gang crime in the Swedish suburbs. They served as a template for the series “Snabba Cash”, which takes place ten years later and whose second season is currently running on Netflix. The meeting point, the café in the Stockholm district of Södermalm, could hardly offer a greater contrast to the topic of the conversation: posh audience, velvet, golden counter.
