Jenny Frankhauser starts with the docu-soap “Jenny & Steffen im Babyglück”. There are these formats around the Katzenberger clan.
Jenny Frankhauser (30) is more than just Daniela Katzenberger’s (36) half-sister. The influencer proves this in her own documentary soap “Jenny & Steffen im Babyglück” from November 9th on Wednesdays at 8:15 p.m. on TLC. Together with her friend Steffen König, the jungle queen of 2018 shares her pregnancy with the viewers. She’s not the only family member with docu-soap experience.
Daniela Katzenberger and her family
Daniela Katzenberger achieved her cult status through television. She didn’t achieve her dream of becoming a “Playboy” model in Los Angeles, but she was well known. Her trip was documented by the VOX program “Up and Away – My Foreign Diary”. Then she was in “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants” to see how she opened a café in Mallorca. In 2010 she received her own soap on VOX: “Daniela Katzenberger – naturally blonde”. In 2015, the cat switched to the RTLzwei broadcaster.
In addition to the current format “Daniela Katzenberger – Familienglück auf Mallorca”, the blonde also got a new format at Discovery+ in 2022: In “Katzenberger @ Work” the “cat” goes to a farm where, among other things, they harvest potatoes, make sausage and to drive around with the tractor. Her documentary series have also opened other doors for Katzenberger. She is now a successful author. In 2011, she published her autobiography, Be Smart, Play Stupid, which reached number one in the Spiegel paperback bestseller list. This was followed by other books such as “Cat kisses Kater”, “The cat is cooking!” and “A chick is going to be a mom”.
The cat is also doing well in private: Daniela Katzenberger has been in a relationship with singer Lucas Cordalis (55) since 2014. Although many of their fans initially thought the relationship was a PR stunt, they are still a couple to this day. As part of her show, she married her then-fiancé Cordalis in 2016. The TV spectacle was moderated by Jana Ina (45) and her husband Giovanni Zarrella (44). Their daughter Sophia Cordalis (7) was born in 2015. The cat’s child can also be seen on TV. Even her birth was filmed. There have already been a wide variety of forms of their docu-soap, such as “With Lucas in Babyglück”(2015), “With Lucas in Wedding Fever” (2016), “With Lucas in Christmas Fever” (2016) and “Daniela and Lucas – The First Wedding Day” (2017).
Mother Iris Klein can be seen everywhere
The mother of the two well-known daughters also only misses a few television appearances. Iris Klein (55) was seen again and again in the Katzenberger soaps and gained her fame in this way, although she was already in the “Big Brother” house in 2010. In 2018 she emigrated to Mallorca with her husband Peter Klein. The two were accompanied by the Sat.1 docu-soap “Celebrities private – my almost perfect life”.
In 2020, Klein took part in the RTL show “Das Sommerhaus der Stars” with her husband. In 2022, the 55-year-old followed a provisional digital entry into the show “Battle of the Reality Stars”. Due to a corona infection, she was only able to be there live from the sixth episode. Her mother will also appear in Frankhauser’s own docu-soap.
