Jeep unveils two new electric models

The American dealers of Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler were invited a few days ago to Las Vegas to get acquainted with the future products that will arrive in their showrooms. Among these products, some are also of interest to old Europe, where the Jeep brand is enjoying some success. We discover for example the Recon, the second 100% electric model after the little Avenger. It’s a little more compact than the Wrangler (with which it will coexist in the catalog for a while), but Jeep promises off-road capabilities of the same order, as well as sufficient autonomy to venture deep (and in silence) in nature, and be able to return. At Jeep, the Recon is positioned as a direct competitor to the Land Rover Defender. Launch in 2024.

Jeep Wagoneer S – DR

Premium

In a completely different style, the Wagoneer S will position itself more in the field of premium than adventure. Of course, the 4×4 transmission and the all-terrain mode selector will be there, but certain technical characteristics announced announce another color: 600 hp and some 3.5 seconds for the 0-100 km/h. On the autonomy side, Jeep evokes about 650 km in one charge. The Jeep Wagoneer S is also announced for 2024, at least in the USA. The launch in Europe is planned, but it is not yet known when.
