Jean-Michel Aulas should become vice-president of the FFF

The post-OL era ultimately promises to be a busy one for Jean-Michel Aulas. Already a member of the executive committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) and future president of the Professional Women’s Football League which will see the light of day in 2024, the former Lyon boss will probably soon have another role in the authorities. During the Comex this Thursday, the president of the FFF Philippe Diallo proposed him as vice-president of the FFF, which was accepted unanimously.

We will therefore know at the next federal assembly, on December 16, if JMA will indeed be Philippe Diallo’s right arm at “3F” as is the case. “Proposing Jean-Michel Aulas to the position of vice-president seemed logical and legitimate to me,” explains Philippe Diallo. I am happy that he accepted this proposal and the entire executive committee with me. His experience of high-level men’s and women’s football and his economic expertise represent a considerable asset for our Federation. »

An enthusiasm shared by the person concerned, who was president of OL for thirty-five years, until a thunderclap initiated by John Textor at the beginning of May in Lyon: “I am very proud and happy with the confidence granted. I will put all my energy, all my experience and all my passion for football at the service of the FFF and the best interests of French football. My investment will be total, like my involvement in the plan to professionalize women’s football. » At 74 years old, JMA certainly does not intend to take a step back from the world of football.
