Loaned by Olympique Lyonnais, the Brazilian would only be slightly injured. He was reportedly taken to hospital by firefighters.
According to photos released by the daily, the player’s Mercedes was badly banged up in the accident, which did not involve other vehicles. According to several witnesses, the car swerved into the left lane for some reason, before rolling over and coming to a stop on the grass. The accident took place near the Ikea store.
