The name of the current program is “On Fire” and the musical concept of the Valentin Renner sextet sounds accordingly: Led by jazz drummer Valentin Renner, the ensemble focuses on “exploring musical and rhythmic boundaries as well as energy, feeling and creativity”. In the anniversary series “30 Years of Jazz Monday” the sextet will now try to electrify the audience in the Ismaninger Hainhalle. The concert on Monday, November 14 starts at 8.30 p.m. In addition to Renner, the band includes trumpeter Bastien Rieser, saxophonists Anton Mangold and Tom Förster, pianist Luca Zambito and bassist Nils Kugelmann.
