Jason Seizer Quartet gives jazz concert in Ismaning – district of Munich

Old film music in a new sound, plus original compositions, improvisations, the play of virtuoso free spirits: the Jason Seizer Quartet will be presenting an exciting program on Friday, March 4th, in the “Kallmann Concerts” series at the Ismaninger Seidl-Mühle. The ensemble is named after the tenor saxophonist Jason Seizer, who is regarded as an unconventional and energetic protagonist on the German jazz scene. The band’s repertoire consists on the one hand of music from films such as Alfred Hitchock’s “Vertigo”, Michael Cimino’s “The Deer Hunter” or Giuseppe Tornatore’s “Cinema Paradiso”. On the other hand there are own compositions and free improvisations. The listener is promised “a collective festival of timbres”.
