Japan: New dating app for companies – Panorama

China Toyoshima was quite specific about her love life herself. That was 2018. She was about to be promoted to a Japanese pharmaceutical company. She knew that most women in higher positions are single because they run out of time with so much work. So she did what many creative business people do these days to tackle a social problem: she developed an app with experts.

China Toyoshima, 36, told the story of the founding of her company “Aill goen” in the news agency “Kyodo”. “Aill goen” wants to make the life of the working population in Japan better and more romantic. Said app is an intelligent dating portal for companies. Only employees whose companies have booked the “Aill-goen” app can use the portal. So there is no risk of wild encounters with any Tinder individuals. Above all, however, Japanese companies find the new love app attractive because the home office practice worked a little too well during the pandemic. Some employees saw almost no one at all – irresponsible in an aging society with fewer and fewer children.

It is not known whether it worked at China Toyoshima itself. But their love service is well received. Around 800 companies already offer their employees this service. Good sex increases work performance – no Japanese company executive would say it that directly. But success through couple building is also a nice message.
