Jamie Foxx gets another show on Fox to make up for his absence from Beat Shazam due to illness.
Jamie Foxx (55) gets a new game show on US broadcaster Fox. According to media reports the actor and entertainer will moderate “We Are Family” from 2024. He gets support from his family. His daughter Corinne will lead the show at his side.
Jamie Foxx lost Fox show due to hospitalization
Jamie Foxx recently had to step down from hosting another Fox show. Comedian Nick Cannon (42) will represent him in the upcoming season of “Beat Shazam”. The reason for the time-out is a medical emergency for which the actor was hospitalized on April 12.
It is still not known exactly what the complication is. Corinne Foxx gave the all-clear a few days ago that her father hadn’t been in the hospital “for weeks”.

Jamie Foxx has been moderating “Beat Shazam” since 2017. In the show, the candidates have to recognize pieces of music faster than the eponymous Apple app. Corinne Foxx acts as co-moderator and DJ. She will also be replaced in the new season. Another celebrity daughter takes over her job: Kelly Osbourne (38).
Corinne Foxx has been in front of the camera alongside her father since she was a child, first appearing at the age of six on “The Jamie Foxx Show”.

On “We Are Family,” a non-celebrity family member sings a duet with his famous relative. The celebrity cannot be seen. Contestants can win up to $100,000 by guessing the star.
