The twins of Charlène of Monaco and Prince Albert II are celebrating their 9th birthday. The palace congratulates with a sweet photo.
Gabriella and Jacques, the twins of Charlène of Monaco (45) and husband Prince Albert II (65), are celebrating their 9th birthday this Sunday (December 10th). “Happy birthday to Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella,” the palace wrote on the occasion in an Instagram post. He also published a photo of the twins in which the two arm in arm smile at the camera.
While Prince Jacques wears a black uniform with red and white details and white gloves, Princess Gabriella can be seen in a navy blue ensemble including a hat in the picture by Eric Mathon. The photo was apparently taken on National Day in Monaco last November, as the twins were seen there in these outfits.
The siblings recently underwent a big change. In an interview with “Monaco-Matin” Her mother revealed in September that the two were really looking forward to seeing their friends again after the long vacation. She added: “This is also the first time that Jacques and Gabriella are not in the same class. This is a big step for them and it seems good to me.”
Charlène also revealed about her children’s personalities: “Gabriella is quite spontaneous, she has a certain self-confidence. Jacques is very reserved, but very attentive.” The princess further explained: “They complement each other to a certain extent and are gradually winning over those around them. But they are still young and are developing further from day to day.” Regarding her children’s sporting preferences, Charlène said that Gabriella was passionate about hip-hop dance and Jacques practiced taekwondo. “It’s about giving them a good education, self-confidence and a happy childhood.”
Charlène and Prince Albert II married on July 1, 2011, and the church wedding followed the day after. The twins Gabriella and Jacques were born in December 2014.
Congratulations with a family photo
The princess’s foundation, the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco, also congratulated the twins on Instagram on their special day. In one story they added a picture of the twins and their parents to the congratulations. The family smiles harmoniously into the camera.
As the organization also announced on Instagram, Charlène from Monaco attended the traditional Christmas ball at the Hotel de Paris last Friday evening as patron of the event. An auction organized by the auction house Sotheby’s raised money for their foundation. The 45-year-old appeared at the gala themed “Le Bal de Noel Centenaire” in a glamorous sequined gown.
