The New York Times previously reported that 200 employees were laid off at the company over the weekend, since Musk took over the social media platform. Twitter’s workforce has also dropped from more than 7,500 to less than 2,000.

But while Twitter is experiencing downtime. Most recently, Dorsey’s decentralized social media platform, Bluesky, entered private beta testing. The mobile application is now available for selected users through an invite-only beta test.

according to preliminary reports The app was available on the Apple App Store since February 17 and had been downloaded more than 2,000 times by the end of the month. The app is not yet available on Android.
