In a talk show, Jane Fonda remembers the film “The Monster in Law”. Jennifer Lopez is said to have injured her on the set at the time.

Jane Fonda (85) has a Guest appearance on the US talk show by Drew Barrymore (48) reminded of the iconic slap scene with Jennifer Lopez (53) in the cult film “The Monster in Law” (2005). However, the 85-year-old did not have many positive things to say about her fellow actress.

“What comes to mind right away, we had this one slap scene. I slapped her, she slapped me. Well, Jennifer had this huge diamond ring. And when she slapped me one time, she cut me with that one above the eye on my eyebrow,” Fonda said and then emphasized with a serious expression: “She never apologized.”

The revelation caused astonished expressions on the faces of Barrymore and onlookers. However, nothing further was said about the scene.

J.Lo nominated for Golden Raspberry

Fonda and Lopez co-starred in the 2005 romantic comedy. Fonda played the title character, Viola Fields, who planned to stop her son (Michael Vartan, 54) from marrying artist and dog sitter Charlotte “Charlie” Cantilini (Lopez). Lopez was subsequently nominated for the anti-Oscar Golden Raspberry for her role.
