Ivana Trump is dead. Donald Trump’s ex-wife died at the age of 73. Daughter Ivanka Trump is now speaking via Instagram.
Daughter Ivanka Trump (40) has now spoken out about the death of her mother Ivana Trump. The ex-wife of former US President Donald Trump died Thursday at her home in New York City, aged 73. Ivanka shared several pictures of and with her mother via Instagram and spoke of being “heartbroken” after her death.
Her mom was “brilliant, charming, passionate and hilarious” and a role model for strength, tenacity and determination. Ivana Trump enjoyed her life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to laugh and dance. “I will miss her forever and will always cherish her memory in our hearts,” Ivanka said.
Eric Trump confirmed his mother’s death via Instagram
Son Eric also responded in a first statement on his Instagram account. He also wrote about several family pictures: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ivana Trump.” She was an incredible woman, “a driving force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and a caring mother and friend.”
In addition, his mother was a survivor who once fled communism and then “embraced” her new home in the United States. She would have given her children “courage and toughness” as well as “compassion and determination”.

Donald Trump also published a statement on his social media platform Truth Social. “It is with great sadness that I announce to everyone who loved her, of whom there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” said the former US President. “She was a wonderful, beautiful and incredible woman who lived an amazing and inspiring life. Her pride and joy were her three children Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. She was so proud of them and we were all proud of them. Rest in Peace, Ivana!”
Ivana Trump was born on February 20, 1949 in what was then Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Canada in the early 1970s. In 1976 she met Donald Trump and married him about a year later. The marriage produced three children, Donald Jr. (44), Ivanka and Eric. In 1990, Donald Trump and Ivana divorced.
