It’s (almost) too late to pay your taxes on paper

France in the Internet white zone, disconnected elderly people or a paper fetish, it’s almost too late for you. You actually have until 11:59 p.m. sharp this evening to mail your tax return in paper format. And given that it is the postmark that is authentic, and that your agency is very likely closed at the time of publication of this paper (or you have an incredible service in your city), it is the moment to announce that things are over for you. Sorry, we rather like writing articles feel good U.S. too.

Do not panic

Don’t panic (or a little anyway), you can always refer to the online declaration, much later. For departments numbered 01 to 19 and French residents abroad, declarations have until May 23, 11:59 p.m., which leaves two days. Between departments 20 and 54, May 30. And above 55 on June 6.

Please note, any permanent delay may result in taxes being increased by 10 to 40%.
