Juventus Turin is once again targeted by the public prosecutor. Now it is determined because of possible irregularities in player transfers and in the balance sheets.
The Turin public prosecutor started investigations against the Italian record champions and his managers, including club boss Andrea Agnelli.
Juve’s headquarters in Turin and the club’s offices in Milan were searched on Friday evening (26/11/2021). Management documents were secured between 2019 and 2021.
Nedved also affected
The investigation is running alongside Agnelli against Vice President Pavel Nedved, former sports director Fabio Paratici, who is now under contract with Tottenham Hotspur, and against three other managers. The Milan Stock Exchange, as Juve is a listed club, and the Italian Football Association were informed of the investigation.
In the past, Juventus Turin had come into the focus of investigative authorities more often. Because of a manipulation scandal, the club even had to relegate.
