It is in Figeac, in the Lot, that Emmanuel Macron chose to end his campaign

This is not the first time that Emmanuel Macron has visited the Lot. But on Friday, it is in his capacity as a candidate that he will make the trip there, the last of the presidential campaign. He will go to Figeac, sub-prefecture of this rural department where he came first in the first round (24.97%), ahead of Jean-Luc Mélenchon (23.71%) and Marine Le Pen (19.58%). There will be a final meeting two days before the second round.

According to one of his advisers, the candidate president “will speak in Figeac, in the heart of France, about rurality, relocations…”, on the constituency of LREM deputy Huguette Tierna.

This last speech aims to “continue to accelerate until the end” of the campaign and to “avoid demobilization” of voters, while he is given the lead in the latest polls.

This Thursday, the day after the televised debate, he is expected Thursday at the start of the afternoon in Seine-Saint-Denis, a department where the leader of the Insoumis came out on top. Sunday evening, Emmanuel Macron should speak in front of his supporters, after the ballot, on the Champs de Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, said his entourage.
