Bach was part of a team of lawyers who prosecuted Eichmann in Jerusalem in 1961. Eichmann was one of the main people responsible for the deportation of European Jews to the death camps. Deputy Prosecutor Bach grew up in Berlin and fled Germany to Palestine with his family in 1938. He studied law in London before working for the public prosecutor in Israel from 1953.
