According to Emmanuel Macron, France is conducting negotiations to release hostages taken by the Islamist Hamas in Israel. Macron said during a visit to Albania in Tirana that he was speaking cautiously so as not to raise false hopes and to endanger the negotiations. “But they are making progress, we are following the negotiations every hour.”
