The apartment of a pensioner in Ismaning caught fire on Monday afternoon. According to the police, the fire brigade was called to the Krautgartenstrasse area around 3:30 p.m. According to current investigations, the fire broke out in the kitchen of the over 70-year-old woman. The fire was quickly extinguished by the fire brigade. The resident suffered smoke inhalation and superficial burns. She was taken to a hospital by ambulance. There was property damage of several tens of thousands of euros. Commissariat 13 for fire offenses took over the further investigations.
