Ismaning – Modern Jazz with the Rick Hollander Quartet – District of Munich

Modern jazz that is timelessly good: The Rick Hollander Quartet has been an institution on the international scene since the 1990s. The ensemble, which consists of three Americans and one German, will perform in the “Ismaninger Jazz-Montag” series at the Seidl-Mühle on Monday, February 14th. The members are all experts: Brian Levy is considered one of the most virtuoso saxophonists of his generation, guitarist Paul Brändle tries to captivate the listener without gimmickry. Matthew Adomeit on the bass acts with imagination and a broad musical spectrum. Bandleader and drummer Rick Hollander, born in Detroit and living in Munich, is characterized by his sensitive accompaniment and has already worked with various greats of jazz.
