For the second time after 2021, the Munich Art Academy is now hosting an exhibition in the Ismaninger Galerie im Schlosspavillon. From Friday, September 23, six young artists from the Munich Art Academy will be presenting their works in the “Herbstball” exhibition: sculptures, jewelry and implements, floor works, kinetic objects and installations that revolve in different ways around the idea of a festive dance ball and with it refer to the historical space. The works were selected as part of a student competition by the Munich Academy Association. The vernissage of the exhibition presented by the neighboring Kallmann Museum begins at 6 p.m.
In the Kallmann Museum itself, modern jazz can also be heard on the same evening. The pianist and composer Maria Baptist and saxophonist Jan von Klewitz present their album “Facing Duality”. Both are among the greats of the German jazz scene. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost twelve euros, concessions eight euros.
