Bad news for swimmers in the northern district: The indoor pool in Ismaning will remain closed at least until spring. This is reported by the local municipal works. Problems have repeatedly cropped up in the communal pool since it opened in 2013. Among other things, the tiles in the swimming pool came off, so that the indoor pool had to be closed several times for repairs. Since then, the municipality has also been fighting legally to assert construction defects. According to the municipal utilities, a court settlement has now been reached that obliges the responsible companies to provide their services professionally and appropriately. Of course, this delays the renovation work, since experts and the community check every step of the work. The work is therefore expected to last “certainly until the second quarter” of the current year, according to the municipal utilities. The sauna will also remain closed for the time being. However, the physio practice and the restaurant in the indoor pool are open.
