Ismaning: indoor pool opens after the carnival holidays – district of Munich

The Ismaninger indoor swimming pool will reopen after the carnival holidays after a two-year forced break due to various construction defects. The council passed the decision unanimously on Thursday evening. The committee also decided: Contrary to what was planned, the temperature in the indoor pool for both water and air will not be lowered, it will remain as warm as usual. The energy savings of a reduction, according to the finding, would not be so high. Contrary to what was initially discussed, the water slide is also put into operation.

The municipality is raising the prices for this: admission for three hours will in future cost seven euros for adults instead of the previous five, and four instead of three for young people. A day ticket will be available for adults for ten euros, young people pay 5.50 euros. A family ticket for two adults and up to three children for the whole day costs 26 euros. Children up to a height of 1.15 meters can continue to use the bathroom free of charge.

According to the Ismaninger town hall, the renovation work in the bathroom has been largely completed, and there is already water in the pool. Some damage to wall or floor tiles has not yet been repaired; these are to be rectified successively during operation or during the next maintenance break. Aerators and neck showers in the swimming pools will only gradually work again. The sauna will also remain closed for the time being, the municipality first wants to wait for stable operation of the indoor pool. A decision should be made in the spring.
