Isar murder in Munich: the police are looking for a poster with the murderer of Domenico L. – Munich

The six square meter wanted poster is likely to be the largest in the history of the Munich criminal police. It has been on Erhardtstrasse near the Cornelius Bridge since Friday morning. It shows a laughing young man and a question that doesn’t fit the motif at all: “Who murdered me here?”

The poster stands at the scene of the so-called Isar murder, which marks the tenth anniversary of Pentecost Sunday. The victim: the then 31-year-old Domenico Lorusso. The perpetrator: unknown to this day. The Munich Homicide Commission takes the anniversary as an opportunity to look for possible witnesses of what happened ten years ago in this unusual way.

The model is a similar campaign by the “Soko Radweg” in Bayreuth. The motif of the poster has been agreed with the family of the murdered man, who also made the photo available, said Munich police spokesman Andreas Franken. The city made it possible to erect the poster board, which weighed a ton.
