However, experts are reluctant to make a final judgment. Australian whale expert Vanessa Pirotta says vs. the US magazine “Newsweek”:
“It has been compared to a whale penis because of the similarities in shape and size. In reality, it could be any part of a marine creature, such as a shark’s liver.”
The whale researcher Olaf Meynecke goes vs. the British “Guardian” assumes that it is probably part of a marine mammal. To find out what it is, it would have to be examined more closely.
