A helicopter flight for the defense minister’s son doesn’t cause a scandal. But it is one of a series of mishaps and embarrassments that have become a problem for Christine Lambrecht.

Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht took her adult son to an appointment in North Friesland in a government helicopter. The flight was – so it looks so far – duly registered and billed according to the guidelines. Shortly thereafter, without a helicopter, we continued our Easter vacation on Sylt.
